Fall 2016 – RurAL CAP AmeriCorps Recruitment

AmeriCorps ALASKARurAL CAP is recruiting for our 2017 RAY (Resilient Alaska Youth) AmeriCorps teams. AmeriCorps Members are recruited locally and work to support community youth through enhancing their connection to culture and connection to supportive adults. Past projects have included health fairs, subsistence activities, culture camps, community gardens, tobacco prevention, cultural activities and youth groups. Get things done in your community and become a part of a network of self-starters that stretches across Alaska and beyond!

The program begins January 16, 2017, and requires a full-time commitment to one year of service. Members receive a monthly living stipend ($1,310), an education award ($5,730), childcare benefits, on-the-job training and much more.
